SUMMARY: INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY – FALL 2017 (UNPAID)
Under the direction of Senior Planners, support public outreach and its internal coordination. Assist with public process, document production, workshops, as well as planning, zoning and land use regulation initiatives. Assist in the drafting of text for Board of Appeal recommendations and planning initiative final reports.
Provide assistance on the following community planning projects:

Applicant must be currently enrolled in a master’s program in city planning or urban design. Proficiency with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop is preferred. While the internship is unpaid, interns typically arrange funding for work at the BPDA through their academic program or other outside sources, with the support of BPDA staff.
DATES OF INTERNSHIP PROGRAM: September 2017 to December 2017
Fall internship available with flexible hours and start date. Intern work schedule is open for discussion based on student and employer needs.
Participants in the Internship Program should be graduate students.
