SUMMARY: INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY – SPRING 2018 (UNPAID)
Under the direction of Senior Planners, support public outreach and its internal coordination. Assist with public process, document production, workshops, as well as planning, zoning and land use regulation initiatives. Assist in the drafting of text for Board of Appeal recommendations and planning initiative final reports.
Provide assistance on the following community planning projects:
Note: This is an unpaid Internship (see below)
Applicant must be currently enrolled in a master’s program in city planning, urban design or real estate. Proficiency with Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop is preferred. While the internship is unpaid, interns typically arrange funding for work at the BPDA through their academic program or other outside sources, with the support of BPDA staff.
DATES OF INTERNSHIP PROGRAM: February 2018 to May 2018
Fall internship available with flexible hours and start date. Intern work schedule is open for discussion based on student and employer needs.
Participants in the Internship Program should be graduate students.
