TITLE: COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT MANAGER
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the supervision of the Deputy Director for Downtown & Neighborhood Planning, assist members of the Planning Department with the coordination of all outreach efforts related to planning and zoning initiatives in the neighborhoods and the Downtown.
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The general duties and responsibilities of the position are included in but not limited to the information listed below.
Work requires a Bachelor’s Degree or five or more years of related experience. The Community Relations Liaison must have knowledge of and familiarity with community outreach efforts in the City of Boston. Strong project management and leadership skills are required. Exceptional communication and presentation skills are also required. The Community Relations Liaison must demonstrate an ability to work productively with all levels of management and staff of the Agency and City & State government.
Little or no exertion; occasional local travel.
