    TITLE: ROXBURY CENTER FOR FINANCIAL EMPOWERMENT INTERN

     

    MISSION OF ORGANIZATION:

    The Office of Financial Empowerment’s mission is to link those seeking financial security and wealth generation with access to capital, financial education, and financial services.

     

    SUMMARY: INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY – FALL 2019 (UNPAID)

    Under the direction of the Lead Financial Coach and the Director of the Roxbury Center for Financial Empowerment the RCFE intern will assist with researching, creating and implementing smart/creative database and client tracker software solutions. In this capacity, the intern would assist in creating and reviewing client-level data and outcome reports. 

     

    This individual will also assist with developing strategies to increase the online presence/ traffic, and exposure to the Roxbury Center of Financial Empowerment’s Facebook page and other social media.

     

    The intern will have a front facing presence in the office assisting financial coaching and tax customers.

     

    The individual may have the opportunity for United Way Financial Coaching Training.

     

    IDEAL SKILLS WILL INCLUDE:

    • Knowledge of Microsoft products with the ability to learn new systems
    • Client Tracking Software (Survey Monkey) 
    • Web Hosting, digital content creation, and social media knowledge/experience
    • Internet research skills

     

    DATES OF INTERNSHIP PROGRAM: Fall 2019

     

    Internship available with flexible hours and start date. Opportunity to extend internship into school year.  Intern work schedule is open for discussion based on student and employer needs.
